Bounce Around Ktown is an independent guide to Koreatown, LA. We created this site and monthly bar crawl because Ktown is one of the city’s most electric and surprising neighborhoods. We wanted to create a simple way for Los Angeles to discover the food, nightlife, culture, and character that make it unlike anywhere else.

What to write about

Pick the one that fits

It all reaches the same inbox. The subject line just puts it in the right pile.

  • List a place

Own a bar, a kitchen, a karaoke room or a shop in Ktown and want it on the site? Send the name, the address and anything you would want people to know before they walk in.

  • Host a stop on the crawl

The crawl brings a group of fifteen to twenty on a set night. Tell us what you can hold, what you would put on for them and which nights are quiet enough to be worth it.

  • Sponsorship

There is room for a sponsor on the crawl, in the newsletter and on the social graphics people share after a night out. Ask and we will send what it costs and who sees it.

  • A correction

Wrong hours, a room that closed, a name we spelled badly. Send it over. A bad detail on a Saturday night is worse than no detail at all.

  • Someone we should talk to

The people pages are built out of introductions. If there is an owner, a bartender, a promoter or a regular who should be on one, say so.

  • Anything else

A tip, a rumor, a photograph of a night, an event we have missed. It all goes to the same inbox.

Bounce Around Ktown is independent. We are not the neighborhood council, a chamber of commerce or anybody’s marketing department, and nobody pays to be listed. Venues can ask to be added or corrected, and that is free; sponsorship is a separate thing and it is labeled where it appears.
